“Don’t Just Throw it Away”
Many people carelessly toss away old computer equipment never ensuring that the sensitive data contained is properly destroyed. Financial information, email archives, pictures, and other personal information is often left on the computer’s hard drive when it is discarded to make its way to the landfill.
Before you toss that old PC, make sure that the hard drive is professionally wiped clean, and preferably destroyed to insure that nobody can get access to your most sensitive data.
